Chikuyotei Honten is a traditional eel restaurant on the edge of Ginza serving freshwater eel over rice and eel rolled with egg. The eel is steamed once and then grilled, giving it a soft texture, and the seasoning is light in the Kanto style. Staff in kimono greet customers, and orders can be placed from an English menu. After ordering, food takes 15 to 30 minutes to arrive.
