In Gimhae, Hangeul Bakmulgwan displays the history of Hangeul and related records. Exhibits honour the achievements of Gimhae-born independence activists and Korean linguists Yi Yun-jae and Heo Ung, and include a facsimile of Yongbieocheonga. Visitors can hear explanations in Galleries 1 and 2 on the second floor of the main building, and receive a water-erasable pen by solving a wall puzzle in Gallery 1. The exhibits are suited to children from at least the first year of elementary school rather than preschool-aged children.
