The National Gimhae Museum covers the Gaya history of Gimhae and is a national museum within walking distance of Museum Station. It displays pottery and earthenware, armor, swords, and wooden boat artifacts from the Paleolithic period to the mid-6th century Iron Age. A small cafe and gift shop sit at the end of the exhibition halls, and free parking is available. The collection holds fewer artifacts than museums of the Three Kingdoms period and includes duplicates, so it is dull for those used to larger museums.
