Taemunne

Taemunne is a charcoal grill restaurant for galmaegisal in a converted house down an alley in Banghwa-dong, Seoul. It serves only two versions: salt-grilled, which takes on the charcoal smoke, and marinated, cooked over low heat. The basic doenjang jjigae arrives around the time the meat is finished, and seating is on the floor. Ventilation is poor, so clothes pick up the meat smell.
