Wonjo Boksuni Minsokchon is an old-school drinking spot in Seoul that serves dakbokkeumtang. Each order starts with a perilla leaf shabu-shabu and comes with two and a half whole fresh refrigerated chickens, served alongside potatoes and a cucumber and onion salad. The grandmother runs the place alone, so reservations are required, and the meal begins with a cucumber and lettuce salad before finishing with fried rice. The portions are large enough that even three people struggle to finish most of the smaller dishes.
