Mokdong Bunsik

Mokdong Bunsik is an old snack shop near Mokdong Market in Seoul that serves instant tteokbokki and jjolmyeon. The jjajang tteokbokki is boiled with ramyeon, jjolmyeon, eomuk, and egg as add-ins, then finished with bokkeumbap. The shop has run since 1986, with table seating on the first floor and a shoe-off sitting attic on the second floor, and customers fetch everything except spoons themselves. Seats fill often, so a wait forms.
