Joseon Jeil Bread

Joseon Jeilppang is a small bakery inside Hwagokbon-dong Market, selling sarada ppang, kkwabaegi, and twigim soboro. Its main items include sarada ppang filled with thick cabbage and sweet salad, and crisp twigim soboro filled with red bean paste. At about 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, only one twigim soboro remained, and the next batch came out two hours later; each item was prepared for takeout. The kkwabaegi is soft, so it does not suit those looking for the chewy texture of a chapssal donut.
