Pizzaiola is a family-run restaurant in Myeongil-dong, Seoul, serving Italian wood-fired pizza, pasta and salads. Its signature dish, Iola Secret, bakes cheese and basic toppings in the wood-fired oven first, then adds each menu's own toppings to keep the textures intact. The owner's family learned in Italy and has run the place for nine years, and an open kitchen and oven let diners watch the pizzas being made. The space is small and somewhat cluttered, with the feel of a neighbourhood restaurant rather than an upscale Italian one.
