Dr. Kim Kalguksu

Gimbaksa Kalguksu is an old kalguksu restaurant in Seongnae-dong, Seoul, serving pat kalguksu, bajirak kalguksu, pat ongsimi, and jjinmandu. The pat kalguksu uses a heavy amount of red beans without strong sweetness, and the bajirak kalguksu uses plenty of clams for a cool broth. Food comes out quickly, and ordering patjuk and pat kalguksu together brings both in one bowl. The dining area is small, there is no parking, and the clams sometimes include ones that were not fully purged of sand.
