Jidaiya

Jidaiya is an izakaya near Fushimi Inari Shrine and the Ryukoku University campus that serves skewers and fried dishes. Green onion chicken skewers, fried shrimp, and Sapporo draft beer appear often on orders, which are placed repeatedly through a phone. It opens at 4 p.m. and closes at 11 p.m., with an English menu and QR ordering. Grilled fish has in one case taken more than an hour to arrive after ordering.
