Sumitora (Tenjin)

Sumitora is a yakitori restaurant in Tenjin, Fukuoka, focused on chicken. It grills skewers of heart and gizzard, and wings and thighs with skin attached, over a charcoal grill, and also serves karaage. On Saturday evenings between 8 and 9 pm, parties have entered without a reservation, and the grilling can be watched from the counter. Food and drink prices are on the high side.
