Yakuin-odori Station（Zoo & Botanical Garden）

Yakuin Odori is a subway station on the Nanakuma Line at the western edge of Fukuoka's Yakuin district, used by people heading to the Fukuoka City Zoo and Botanical Garden. Illustrations themed on the zoo appear throughout the station, and the station building holds a supermarket, a pharmacy, and a convenience store. Buses 56 and 58 leave from in front of Exit 2 and go to the zoo's main gate, and coin lockers are available inside the station. The zoo is about 1 km away, a 13-minute walk, but the route is a steep uphill climb that makes walking difficult.
