Nōgata Station is a large railway station on JR Kyushu's Chikuho Main Line in Nōgata, Fukuoka. It grew as a coal loading and transfer station for the Chikuho region from the Meiji era, and a statue of former yokozuna Kaio stands in front of it. The station building was rebuilt recently and has a ticket office, and the walk to Chikutetsu Nōgata Station for a transfer takes about 10 minutes. During the day the space is large relative to the number of passengers, so it is quiet.
