Meoto Zenzai

Meoto Zenjai is a small, old cafe in Osaka, directly to the right of Hozenji Shrine in Dotonbori. It serves Japanese-style sweet red bean porridge and red bean shaved ice. The signature dish is matcha shaved ice, made with milk-based ice and topped with matcha, sweetened red beans, rice cakes and chestnuts. Each person orders one item, and Zenjai divides one portion into two bowls.
