Yangnam Jusangjeolli Observatory

The Yangnam Columnar Joint Observatory sits at the entrance of the Gyeongju Yangnam Columnar Joint Trail. From the high vantage point, visitors can see horizontal, slanted, and fan-shaped columnar joints, and information boards explain how they formed. Admission to the observatory is free, and the coastal columnar joint cluster was designated Natural Monument No. 536 in 2012. Parking is limited to three general spaces and one accessible space, so finding a spot is difficult.
