Chuam Chotdaebawi is a coastal site in Chuam-dong, Donghae, where a rock formation rises from the sea like a candle. The sunrise over Chotdaebawi appears in the background of the first verse of the Korean national anthem, and Chuam Beach is nearby. It is a short walk from the parking lot and can be seen in about ten minutes, with a suspension bridge and sculpture park connected to the visit. Parking is crowded during holidays.
