Somunnan Gohyang Sundaeguk

Somanan Gohyang Sundaeguk is a small sundae guk restaurant near Korea University Station and Jegi-dong in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. The broth sits between light and rich, and the head meat added generously as a topping carries almost no gamey smell. It gets crowded from noon to 1 p.m., and solo diners may be seated at a shared table. The dining area was recently renovated, while the kimchi and kkakdugi are soft and fall short in taste.
