Hyeseong Kalguksu

Hyesung Kalguksu Cheongnyangni is a Korean restaurant across from Cheongnyangni Station that has served two dishes for 58 years: chicken kalguksu and anchovy kalguksu. The chicken kalguksu comes with thick, chewy hand-pulled noodles in a rich chicken broth, eaten with kimchi and garlic dadaegi. Noodles and broth can be refilled for free if the portion is not enough, and takeout is available. Waits of under 30 minutes form at lunchtime and on weekends.
