Halmeoni Naengmyeon

Halmeoni Naengmyeon is a naengmyeon restaurant near Gyeongdong Market in Cheongnyangni, Seoul, serving spicy cold noodles. The menu has one item, naengmyeon, in regular or large portions, topped with half an egg, cucumber, mu ssam, and a spicy sauce, with cold meat broth poured over so the dish moves from bibim to mul naengmyeon. Even when a line forms at lunch, the shop sells only naengmyeon and turns tables quickly, and hot broth and water are self-service. Adding all of the spicy sauce makes it as hot as buldak bokkeumyeon, and the heat covers the other flavors.
