Furusato

Furusato is an izakaya in an alley between Hoegi Station and the back gate of the University of Seoul, serving aged hoe and Japanese-style anju. The anju omakase changes daily and includes aged sashimi, charcoal-grilled skewers, beef tendon simmer, and fried oysters, along with a signature highball. The place draws enough visitors that calling ahead to reserve is advisable, and the omakase composition can differ on each visit. Portions of food tend to be small.
