Heolti Pass

Heolti Jae is a 12km mountain road on the border of Dalseong-gun and Cheongdo-gun in Daegu, between Bisilsan and Umisan. The first 8km averages a 2% grade, and the final 4km steepens gradually, forming the Heolpal course that connects with Paljoryeong. The pass sits at about 500m above sea level, and while traffic volume is low, cyclists are common, so drivers should take care. The final 4km and the 12 passes section are steep and demanding.
