Gatbawi

Gatbawi on Palgongsan in Daegu is a tourist site at the summit where visitors make wishes before a seated stone Buddha. The route up from the Gwanum Rest Area on the Gyeongsan side is about 2 km one way and takes around 35 minutes at an easy pace. The Daegu-side trail has 1,365 steps and requires a slow climb. At the summit, bank transfers are not accepted and only cash works.
