Samgye-Og

Samgyeok is a samgyetang restaurant on the second floor of a building near Starfield COEX Mall in Samseong-dong, Seoul. It serves basil, perilla seed, and black garlic samgyetang, with the basil version topped with cheese powder and the remaining broth mixed with basil rice to eat like risotto. The black garlic samgyetang has a rich broth that includes clams, and a welcome glass of ginseng wine comes with the meal. There is a wait at lunch and it is quieter late in the evening, while the basic samgyetang has a clean, deep broth with the rice inside the chicken.
