Cheonggukjang Seogalbi is an old Korean restaurant specialising in cheonggukjang and ojingeo bokkeum, located near Seolleung Station and the Daechi-dong hagwon district in Seoul. The cheonggukjang has a mild smell and a light, not salty broth, while the ojingeo bokkeum is coated in a spicy sauce and eaten mixed with rice. The shop has seven tables, so it fills up and develops a wait during meal times, and ordering cheonggukjang brings a large bowl along with namul, gochujang and oil. Seating is tight and there are no single seats, so going alone can mean sharing a table.
