Poco a poco is an Italian restaurant a six-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station in Osaka. It uses ingredients from regions including Okayama and Nara to make seasonal pasta, risotto, and house-made ham and sausage, and at lunch offers a one-plate meal that comes with salad and bread. At lunch a single chef handles both orders and cooking, and in the evening customers choose ingredients that are then prepared as pasta or risotto, with the restaurant open until midnight. Because one person runs it, food can come out slowly when customers arrive at once.
