Garahori Shotengai is a neighborhood market street near a station in Osaka that keeps the look of an old Japanese street. Its alleys hold local cafes, bars, craft shops, and an old shop selling kombu and seaweed. Several shops share each old building, and there is a 24-hour supermarket and a bicycle rental shop. On days when more than half the shops are closed, the street is quiet.
