Mitsumasu Tenjin

Torikawa Yakitori Mitsumasu Tenjin is a yakitori restaurant a five-to-ten-minute walk from the center of Tenjin in Fukuoka. Its signature dish is chicken skin skewers, grilled and then lightly fried so they come out crisp and chewy, and diners also order namatsukune and grilled onigiri. Orders are placed by opening a Korean-language menu with photos through a QR code. By around 6:30 p.m. the restaurant is nearly full and staff give a one-hour limit, so walking in without a reservation makes it hard to get a seat.
