Samaksan

Samyaksan sits west of Uiam Dam in Chuncheon, with Yonghwabong as its main peak. The rocky route looks out over Uiamho and downtown Chuncheon and passes Deungseonpokpo and a rock gorge. The traverse from Uiam ticket office over Yonghwabong to Deungseonpokpo takes about three hours, and a lookout three to four minutes from the top shows a better view. The Uiam ticket office course is a rough path with steep rocky ridges and about 330 stone steps, so care is needed for safety.
