The National Chuncheon Museum displays artifacts and Buddhist culture from Gangwon's prehistoric era through the Joseon period, and is located in Chuncheon's Seoksadong. Its holdings include the gilt-bronze standing bodhisattva from the Seollimwon site, the seated stone bodhisattva from the Hansongsa site, the Five Hundred Arhats, and exhibitions on Geumgangsan and the Gwandong Palgyeong. A large central screen shows media art for 27 minutes every hour on the hour, and a children's museum and cafe also operate on site. The media art viewing space tends to be warm.
