Lee Sangwon Art Museum

A private museum on the hillside of Jiam-ri in Chuncheon displays realist paintings by the artist Lee Sang-won. It shows realist portraits of elderly faces alongside modern architecture in the mountains. At the experience hall, visitors can make bookmarks or take part in glass, leather, and ceramic crafts, and a cart shuttle runs up the slope to the exhibition building. There is no convenience store nearby and the nearest one is about a 20-minute drive away, so food should be brought in advance.
