Zelve Open Air Museum

Zelve Open Air Museum sits a 20-minute dolmuş ride from Göreme in Cappadocia and centers on cave ruins. Early monasteries and old dwellings run between the rock formations, and a church and a mosque also remain. A wide, well-marked course lets visitors walk it like a hike for about two hours. The course is long with almost no shade, so water and a parasol are needed.
