Geumjeongsan is a mountain peak in Busan that rises to 801.5 meters on the border between Geumjeong-gu, Buk-gu, Dongnae-gu, and Yangsan in Gyeongnam. Beomeosa Temple, Geumjeong Fortress, rocky peaks and ridges run across it, and the summit looks out over the Nakdong River and central Busan. Routes include the course from Beomeosa Temple through the north gate to Godangbong and the south gate course, the trails are well maintained, and there is a circular staircase at the summit. The Beomeosa Temple course is steep, and the less-traveled path toward Geumgok Station has few signs, making navigation difficult in winter.
