Mandok Lego Village in Busan is a housing complex of identical detached houses with colorful roofs. Each house has a small yard and garden, and the Lego-like rooflines are most visible from higher ground. The houses were built in 1986 as national housing, and the complex is the last detached-housing estate created under government policy in South Korea. The roofscape can be seen from the window in front of the elevator at the Mandok New Town apartment complex across the way, and public transit access is inconvenient.
