Hwamyeong Ecological Park

Hwamyeong Ecological Park runs north to south along the Nakdong River on the west side of the Hwamyeong-dong new town, with walking paths and a bicycle route. In April, 70,000 tulips of 11 varieties bloom, and prickly water lilies, cosmos, and reeds can also be seen. An information board stands near the P1 parking lot at Hwamyeong Stadium, restrooms and drinking fountains are placed throughout, and a bicycle path and walking path run about 10 km to Hopo. Some sections are under construction, and tents are not allowed.
