Asakusa Izumi

Asakusa Izumi is a Japanese traditional dessert shop on Kaminarimon-dori, near Sensoji in Asakusa. Its signature anmitsu combines agar, red bean paste, beans, and fruit, and the red bean paste can be ordered as koshian or tsubuan. The Ujikintoki shaved ice has matcha whisked to order after the order is placed. The shop has 26 table seats, and the small interior with closely spaced tables can mean a wait for larger groups.
