Asakusa Kagetsudo

Asakusa Hwawoldang is a takeout cafe near Sensoji and Asakusa Station that sells warm melon bread. The outside is crisp with a thin cookie crust and the inside is chewy, and there is also a version with ice cream inside. On weekends a line forms, but since it is mostly takeout the line moves quickly. There is nowhere to sit, so you eat standing on the street.
