Amezaiku Ameshin (Hanakawado Studio)

Ameshin Hanakawado is a Japanese confectionery in Asakusa Hanakawado that makes and sells traditional Japanese candy craft. Staff shape hot candy by hand and with Japanese scissors into a white rabbit, which is then colored freely and packed for takeout. The session begins with two practice runs after an explanation and video, and the full experience takes about one hour. Because the candy hardens quickly, the main work itself lasts only two to three minutes.
