Kyushu Wildlife Park African Safari

African Safari is a drive-through safari at Kyushu Natural Animal Park near Yufuin, where visitors drive their own rental cars among the animals. Instead of cages, you view rhinos and elephants up close through the car windows and pass through gates that open and close at each section. The full course takes about an hour, and safety staff vehicles are stationed throughout. On weekends and holidays, cars back up from the entrance and the wait to enter alone takes over 40 minutes.
