Yodoyabashi is a bridge between Nakanoshima and Kitahama in Osaka. Midosuji runs over the Tosabori River, and at night the lights of nearby buildings reflect on the water. The bridge takes its name from Yodoya, a merchant who built one during the Edo period, and the current arched bridge was completed in 1935. On weekends the business district around Osaka City Hall and the Bank of Japan Osaka Branch is quiet.
