Sumiyoshi Shrine

Sumiyoshi Shrine is a worship site in Nishiyodogawa Ward, Osaka, a five-minute walk from Fuku Station on the Hanshin Namba Line. It enshrines several deities together, including Sumiyoshi, Fuku Ebisu, Konpira, and Fuku Inari. The shrine was founded in 1656. Fishing residents prayed here for safe voyages and good catches, making it a guardian shrine of the sea.
