Sōzen Temple is a Sōtō school temple about 600 meters from Shin-Osaka Station in Osaka and a four-minute walk from Hankyu Sōzenji Station. The grounds hold the grave of Ashikaga Yoshinori and the grave of Hosokawa Garasha. The temple was founded in the Nara period by Gyōki, and the current building was rebuilt in reinforced concrete in 1989 after the 1945 air raids destroyed the earlier structure. Graves dominate the site more than tourist facilities, and signs are sparse, making Garasha's grave difficult to find.
