KUKJEDON Gukjedon is a Korean-style pojangmacha restaurant in Ho Chi Minh that serves samgyeopsal (pork belly), makchang (beef abomasum), and donkatsu, located a short distance from the center of Thao Dien. The samgyeopsal and makchang are grilled at the table, the donkatsu comes out crispy even with sauce on top, and the kimchi stew and doenjang stew are served in generous portions. The interior uses pojangmacha-style fixtures and lettering on the windows to create an old-fashioned atmosphere, and the space is clean because it is newly opened. The staff are not fluent in Korean, so ordering does not go smoothly.
