Bakes Bánh Pháp & Cà Phê - Thảo Điền is a bakery cafe in Thao Dien, Ho Chi Minh, selling French bread, cakes and coffee. The cheese tart is eaten by torching its sugar coating until it melts and cracks, and the canelé is crisp outside and chewy inside. During the day only the first floor is open, some tables have electrical outlets on the floor, and there are both indoor and outdoor seats. In the afternoon the selection of bread and cakes shrinks, and by 5 p.m. on Sundays most items are sold out.
