Ateya Matjip

Ateya Matjip is a Japanese-style izakaya in Ho Chi Minh's second Japanese street. The Japanese owner works the kitchen and serves okonomiyaki, large sushi, sashimi, chawanmushi, and ebi fry. Cold water and a wet towel arrive as soon as you sit, a large banquet space is on the second floor, and coffee is served as dessert after lunch. Indoor smoking is allowed, which is uncomfortable for non-smokers.
