Nguyen Hue Walking Street is a pedestrian street that runs straight between the Ho Chi Minh City Hall and the Saigon River. Cafe apartments, shops, and restaurants line the street, along with cafes, drink stalls, and local street vendors, while large billboards and buildings fill the space. In the evening, lights come on at the city hall, surrounding buildings, fountains, and lotus sculptures, and pedestrians and street performances increase. The cafe apartments get crowded and busy depending on the time of day.
