Cơm Trắng quán is a local restaurant serving Vietnamese-style rice plates in an alley in Hanoi. Its signature special fills one plate with pork, beef, egg and pickled vegetables, comes with soup, and the rice is served as seasoned fried rice. At meal times the shop fills with Vietnamese locals, who can sit inside or on street-side seats. At lunch it is crowded enough that there are no seats left, and forks are not provided.
