Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi opened in 1901 near Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi. The Heritage Wing keeps its original floors and has modernised rooms, with butler and turndown service. Breakfast is served in three restaurants with different atmospheres, and the menu is the same in each. Public areas are small and the pool is small, so heavy rain makes them hard to use.
