The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi presents the cultures, daily life, and traditional houses of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. Its main building holds Vietnam exhibits on the first and second floors, while the annex covers East Asian materials on floors one through three, with the entire third floor given to a Korea section. Outdoors, full-scale reconstructions of ethnic minority houses can be entered. On weekends, water puppet performances are held at a separate outdoor facility at set times.
