Cầu Thê Húc is a wooden bridge in Hanoi that connects to Ngọc Sơn Temple over Hoàn Kiếm Lake. The bridge is painted red, curves in an arc, and rests on a series of pillars. Nguyễn Văn Siêu built it in 1865 during the reign of Emperor Tự Đức, and its recorded length is 45 metres. The name is interpreted to mean 'where the light rests' or 'where radiance gathers'.
