My Khe Beach

My Khe Beach in Da Nang is a long, wide stretch of sand that runs along the waterfront across from M Hotel. It faces east, so the sunrise is visible, and a path lined with palm trees runs along the beach. On Sundays the beach is crowded even at 5 a.m., and surf lessons, a designated safe zone, and lifeguards are in operation. The water is gray and murky, so swimming is not recommended.
